Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By adding the AOO bot (Albion Online Objectives) to a Discord server, or by using any of its commands, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not add the bot and do not use it.

These terms are an agreement between you and the bot's operator. They do not replace Discord's own terms, which continue to apply to your use of the platform.

2. What the service does

The AOO bot tracks end-game objectives in Albion Online — resource nodes, Cores and Vortexes located in the Black Zone. Members of your server report an objective, and the bot maintains a shared list showing when each one becomes available.

The bot provides four commands:

  • /add — report a new objective
  • /list — display the server's tracked objectives
  • /edit — modify an objective already reported
  • /remove — delete an objective

The service is free of charge. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sandbox Interactive GmbH, the developer of Albion Online, or by Discord.

3. Eligibility

You must have a Discord account in good standing and meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country. Your use of the bot is also subject to the Discord Terms of Service and the Discord Community Guidelines . Where these terms conflict with Discord's developer terms, Discord's terms prevail.

4. Acceptable use

When using the bot, you agree not to:

  • Submit deliberately false objective data to disrupt other players
  • Automate or script command calls to generate abnormal request volumes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the bot, its database, or its infrastructure
  • Use the bot to harass, spam, or otherwise harm other users
  • Use the bot in a way that breaches Discord's terms or Albion Online's own rules

Server administrators are responsible for how the bot is used on their server, including deciding which members may modify or delete objectives.

5. Availability

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that objective data will be accurate — that data is submitted by players, not verified by us.

The service may be suspended, modified, or discontinued at any time, including for maintenance, or because a change to Discord or to Albion Online makes it unworkable.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the bot, including lost in-game time, resources or opportunities resulting from inaccurate, missing, or delayed objective data.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time by removing the bot from your server. Doing so ends all processing for that server; remaining objectives expire and are deleted automatically, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may restrict or withdraw access for a server that breaches section 4, or where continued operation would breach Discord's terms.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on the support Discord server. Continuing to use the bot after a change means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
